This was the first time I tried to capture a Nurse Shark in a painting . It had been swimming around a dock where we were staying and the motion of the water was pixelating and fracturing its appearance. Nurse sharks typically stay near the bottom where they feed on molluscs. This shark lives on the Belize Barrier reef.
