This Southern Stingray is seen cruising above the ocean floor at a depth of 3 metres (15 ft.). The Rays partially bury themselves in the sand and when then this one emerged, the sand was still stuck to it. Notice the rocky coral debris on the wave swept sandy bottom. Barrier Reef, Belize.
